Leap of Faith – A. M. Leibowitz

I enjoyed this collection of short stories through a range of several different characters. The book was very well written, and while it was in no way a depressing book, right at the end, it did move me to tears. I do not want to write why, as I do not want to write a spoiler.

As the title suggests, this book does have some Christian characters in it, by it is not overly religious as to make it an uncomfortable read for atheists (I’m agnostic). The main characters are LGBTQ. These stories show them developing their lives with their partners, friends and the families they make for themselves. There are pages of joy and hope, but also of sadness.
